SCORE VALVES’ TRICENTRIC® triple offset butterfly valves are installed in all stages of Ammonia production facilities from initial desulphurization to condensate recovery in 3” to 30”, class 150 to 1500 in WCB, WC6 and CF8M materials. Urea production valves include CF8M materials with steam jacketing and steam traced shafts to eliminate precipitates.
Score Valves TRICENTRIC® triple offset butterfly valves are installed in olefins production in dryer switching, acid gas absorber and amine solution areas.
SCORE VALVES’ TRICENTRIC® triple offset butterfly valves are installed in ethylene and polyethylene production worldwide including: USA, Asia and Canada, with over 500 valves installed since the late 1990’s in Canada alone, in various processes from high temperature to cryogenic up to 42” diameter and class 900 pressure.
SCORE VALVES’ TRICENTRIC® triple offset butterfly valves are installed in hydrogen peroxide production facilities requiring special design, material selection and processing including pickling and passivation, high purity cleaning and typically small male tongue flange facing for effective flange sealing.
SCORE VALVES’ TRICENTRIC® triple offset butterfly valves are installed in chlor-alkali plants requiring special material selection of specialty low carbon stainless steels, high nickel alloys (200, Hastelloy® C), and titanium, as well as PTFE soft goods which are resistant to the highly corrosive caustic media environments. Steam jacketing and tracing are typically required to eliminate precipitate.
Installations include Dow Chemical facilities among others.
SCORE VALVES’ TRICENTRIC® triple offset butterfly valves are installed in sulfuric acid applications requiring special material selection specific to each application condition and resistance to highly corrosive environments. Sulfuric acid plant valves installed include up to 30” diameter in 304H SST in pre-heater startup as well as Alloy 20, Monel® 400, and Hastelloy® C valves. Stock material trim selection includes Monel® 400 in 3” to 12” sizes.
