Sulfur recovery processes require triple offset valves to reliably operate as isolation and control valves for acid gas, combustion air, reactor bypass, sulfur rundown, switching lines and sulfur tail gas block valves. Application media often requires substantial experience in material selection for corrosive and hydrogen induced stress cracking resistance in compliance to NACE MR0103 and MR0175, as well as specialty options including steam jacketing and tracing to prevent sulfur solidification. For applications prone to media buildup in bearing areas, options include: outboard, purged, lubricated and energized seal bearings. Reduced port valves, which ensure an effective flange gasket seal, are available including stocked sizes from 4” x 3” to 12” x 10”.
TRICENTRIC® triple offset valves are used for isolation of matrix manifolds, loading and unloading stations, storage tank inlet and outlet valves, as well as storage tank overflow lines; helping to mitigate the risk of contamination and product loss.
TRICENTRIC® triple offset valves are used in natural gas dehydration/ pressure swing absorption units, compressor stations, as storage tank inlet and outlet valves, as well as downstream distribution pipelines.
TRICENTRIC® triple offset valves are used in Flare Isolation and Flue Gas Desulfurization processes which can include corrosive environments with extreme temperatures to 1400 F and large valve sizes to 84” in heat and oxidation/ carburization/ corrosion/ sensitization resistant material grades including 321/ 347 stainless steel and high nickel alloys.
TRICENTRIC® triple offset valves are installed in Amine Treating processes in coker sulfur recovery units and require resistance to hydrogen inducted cracking with material selection to NACE MR0103 and erosion resistant with all metal construction for tight shutoff to maintain process efficiency.
TRICENTRIC® triple offset valves are used in upstream SAGD (steam assisted gravity drainage) and oil & gas well production applications. These processes require triple offset valves to reliably operate as isolation and control valves – for oil, gas, steam-diluent extraction or injection in a corrosive and erosive environment – which requires substantial experience in material selection for corrosive, erosive and Chloride/ Hydrogen Induced Stress Cracking resistance in compliance to NACE MR0103 and MR0175, as well as specialty options including cobalt hard surfacing.
